The Ministry published South Sudan's first National Transport Policy, setting a framework for infrastructure development across the new nation.

The completion of the Juba-Nimule Road marked a major milestone, connecting South Sudan's capital to Uganda and regional trade routes.

Bridges Directorate formed
A dedicated Bridges Directorate was established to focus on the assessment, maintenance, and construction of bridges nationwide.
